Newark, NJ, February 17, 2023 Edge, the region’s nonprofit research and education network and technology partner, has announced a partnership with Keystone Sports Construction, to make their design-build and support services for technology-enabled sports surfaces available via EdgeMarket. EdgeMarket provides safe, simple, smart technology procurement options for higher education and public sector entities. As the result of a thorough RFP process, EdgeMarket has awarded a contract which will give its participants the ability to efficiently and affordably procure smart athletic surfaces.

Technology-enabled athletic surfaces allow institutions, athletes, and coaches to optimize athletic performance and health outcomes via a wealth of data generated during the course of athletic activity. With years of experience in the industry and as a member of the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA), Keystone Sports Construction (Keystone) has the credentials and expertise to design, engineer, construct and care for a variety of cutting edge smart athletic surfaces.
