NEWARK, NJ, June 6, 2022 – Edge, the region’s nonprofit research and education network and technology partner, has announced the expansion of its Data Warehouse / Business Intelligence offering on the EdgeMarket Cooperative Pricing System via its master contract vehicle with strategic partner, HelioCampus, an innovator in enterprise analytics, benchmarking, assessment, and data science services.
The new solution, HelioCampus Assessment & Credentialing, is a unified platform for managing institutional assessment and accreditation, planning for continuous improvement, and connecting authentic lifelong learning to help improve learner success. The platform enables easy automation of evaluation, supports individual student assessment, facilitates curriculum mapping and review, streamlines campus-wide accreditation processes, and helps to achieve strategic and educational goals.
“We are so glad to have the HelioCampus Assessment and Credentialing platform now available through Edge. As accreditation standards are focusing more on institutional financial sustainability, not just their commitment to academic achievement, the ability to streamline the assessment process has become even more important. In combination with our analytics platform, institutions can utilize student learning outcomes data in concert with other institutional data to provide an unprecedented level of transparency. This unified view will directly support accreditation, financial sustainability and student success initiatives,” explained Jack Neill, VP Product, HelioCampus.
The expanded offering builds on recent momentum generated by the partnership between Edge and HelioCampus. A recent webinar hosted in conjunction with Villanova University and attended by over 100 members of the higher education community nationwide, titled Villanova University’s Data Journey: From Challenges Identified to Implementation, highlighted Villanova’s success with HelioCampus. By sharing their story, Villanova served as a model for institutions thinking about how to approach a data analytics program from scratch, including selecting a partner like HelioCampus.
“The best co-op master agreements are those where the awarded vendors exhibit a true partnership mindset and a relentless focus on the success of institutions participating in the co-op. HelioCampus has been a fantastic partner and, most importantly, their track record of successful clients is amazing,” noted Dan Miller, Assistant Vice President EdgeMarket, Edge. Continued Miller, “Many of our current participants including The College of New Jersey, Oregon State University and Florida A&M have experienced success with HelioCampus.
