Newark, NJ, June 30, 2021 – Edge, the region’s nonprofit research and education network and technology partner, has announced a partnership with Examity, an industry leader in online proctoring. Via its EdgeMarket Cooperative Pricing System, Edge has awarded a contract which will give its members the ability to efficiently and affordably engage with Examity’s solutions and services.

“Support for online learning delivery models is essential for higher education institutions” said Joshua Gaul, Executive Director of EdgeLearn. “Exam integrity online is just as essential. A solution like Examity’s provides the reliability, ease of use, integrations, and flexibility that our members need to deliver an excellent online testing experience. Combined with reporting capabilities designed to address integrity issues as they arise, and identify trends to inform future learning development, this partnership should provide a powerful tool for colleges and universities delivering remote education.”

Founded in 2013, Examity offers a variety of proctoring styles, from automated through to live, for hundreds of testing organizations and academic institutions worldwide. The company’s online proctoring solution integrates seamlessly with all commercially available learning management system (LMS) providers, and places a premium on flexibility and support for instructors and students. Examity has also been an early adopter and recipient of IMS Global’s LTI 1.3, LTI Advantage, and LTI Proctoring Services certifications, reflecting its focus on ensuring integrity and security. A 2020 winner of Fast Company‘s prestigious Most Innovative Companies Award, Examity has been named twice to Deloitte’s Fast 500 list and has also been honored for four consecutive years as one of the fastest-growing businesses in Massachusetts by the Boston Business Journal.

“As colleges and universities navigate the accelerating growth of online learning, it’s become more important than ever to prioritize security in the assessment process,” said Ryan Leer, Vice President Strategic Accounts at Examity. “We look forward to working with NJEdge and its member institutions as they pursue new approaches to ensure the integrity of the test-taking experience.”
