Description

The Marketing Coordinator will represent the NJEdge marketing team and NJEdge as a whole while working to optimize marketing effectiveness through the use of data, paid & native social media and search, digital best practices, and in-person event engagement. This role will boost effective engagement with relevant NJEdge members and prospective members. An ability to simultaneously handle a myriad of tasks and priorities is a prerequisite for the successful fulfillment of this role. The highest levels of decorum, attention to detail, and professionalism are expected.

Duties and Responsibilities

Required

  • Maintain accurate member organization and individual information in Salesforce, including member profile, contact information, marketing list groupings, and other relevant information
  • Create and manage NJEdge database and research potential new members
  • Participation in strategic marketing calls with digital marketing agencies
  • Analysis of email marketing campaigns, including member engagement by group, time of day, email style, title, etc.
  • Data analysis using Google Analytics and recommend website and user experience optimization
  • Follow and research social media trends in the public sector/education technology space, and perform deep dive analysis into specific KPIs to understand the underlying key drivers
  • Provide performance insights and create reports by building data visualizations using Microsoft Excel and Tableau
  • Research and recommend digital and social media marketing tools which would improve NJEdge marketing processes and/or effectiveness
  • Engage with digital marketing agency to optimize paid social efforts
  • Digitization of NJEdge View from the Edge Magazine materials in Blog form on the NJEdge website, with accurate categorization and tagging for search optimization
  • Coordination of logistics for events including EdgeEvents and other internal events as well as participation in industry tradeshows; printing and organization of event materials, participant badges, NJEdge collateral, partner/sponsor information, and more
  • Assist in the development of marketing presentations for industry events, executive meetings, and other events
  • Work closely within the marketing team to help address the complex challenges of marketing effectiveness, conversion rates, optimization strategies, and online user behavior and engagement

 

Qualifications

Required

  • Experience in marketing strategy, research, and analysis
  • Experience in HTML, CSS and JavaScript with knowledge of User Experience Design
  • Knowledge of digital tools including: Google Analytics, Google G Suite, Google Drive, Box.com and Zoom online meetings
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including track changes and mail-merge functionality in Word
  • Experience with Salesforce or other customer relationship management platform
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exemplary planning and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
