NJEdge Appoints Nick Suttle Vice President and Chief Business Development Officer

Suttle to foster strategic partnerships and grow NJEdge’s technology services

Newark, N.J. – NJEdge announces the appointment of Nick Suttle as Vice President and Chief Business Development Officer. In this role, Suttle will drive success for the organization by developing a pipeline strategy to support current and future strategic partnerships, including prospecting for new members.

NJEdge is a fiber optic network and “above net” services provider for IT solutions. Their membership-based consortium includes academic and research institutions, including Fairleigh Dickinson University, Princeton University, Rutgers University and James Madison University as well as K-12 education, healthcare, public and non-profit service members.

Suttle joins NJEdge from Thrush Aircraft, Inc. – a leading aircraft manufacturer serving the agricultural, patrol and firefighting sectors – where he served as Chief Information Officer. Prior to that, he served as Chief Information Officer at the University System of Georgia – Darton State College in Albany, GA.

Suttle’s technology experience includes leadership roles in the government sector, where he served as a Forward Support Engineer for DARPA; Technical Support Lead in the U.S. Army’s Joint Special Operations Command (where he was also awarded the Bronze Star); and Intelligence Systems Integrator for the National Security Agency.

He holds an Executive Masters in Business Administration from the University of Georgia in Athens, GA.
