NJEDge.Net Affiliates

The NJEDge.Net Affiliate Program is an integral part of how we service our community. We introduce our corporate partners directly to our institutional members, and in turn our affiliates help our program development. Affiliate partners dues allow us to produce more events, invite renowned speakers, and support our EDge.Networks set initiatives or pilot programs of their interest.

The members of the Affiliate Program are vetted by NJEDge.Net. In this "do more for less" environment CIOs, e-learning experts, network and video managers have little time in their schedule to meet individually with vendors. But attending our events save time as these one-stop-shopping opportunities allow members to explore emerging technologies that support their institutional needs. They meet with counterparts and peers; they are able to network and discuss common concerns.

Affiliates host information session to introduce members to new technologies. They are able to promote their service or product directly to our members through NJEDge's different mix of opportunities: face-to-face meetings, videoconferences, webinars, training, and presentations. They openly discuss benefits of their new technologies or present case studies which demonstratively show their application. These opportunities bring affiliates close to our members, and the intersection of their purposes is conducted through the "neutral" arena of NJEDge events. This engenders collaboration.

NJEDge is aggressively marketing special events for our corporate partners that are topic-specific and audience-centric. Affiliates interact with different types of schools which drive our programs and events. At their disposal are nearly 60 academic and research institutions - our general membership. Other opportunities include exhibits at the faculty showcase in the spring and the annual conference in the fall. At those venues affiliates can set up booths, pass out promotional literature, network with our community and, often, present a dedicated track session.
